About the Workshop

Brown Arts Institute (BAI) is excited to offer a new addition to our weekly workshop series: Teaching Artists Studio! The weekly sessions are free open to students and local residents by application.

Teaching Artists Studios are for experienced and aspiring teaching artists to build community, test lesson plans, and receive support and guidance navigating what it means to be a teaching artist working in Rhode Island. Each week will focus on a topic of interest to the cohort and provide opportunities for participants to hone their skills developing and implementing arts-based curriculum and activities with a focus on K-12 audiences.
