Meet the Ambassadors
Neil Stringer

I am currently a Junior at Brown University, concentrating in Neuroscience and Music. My passion for science and the human side of medicine drives my commitment to undestanding the brain’s role in creativity, learning, and healing. As an aspiring neurosurgeon, I aim to merge scientific inquiry with compassion and artistry to improve patient outcomes and deepen our understanding of the mind. At Brown, I am actively involved in academic, artistic, and leadership communities. I serve on the Health and Wellness Committee, Student Government and Residence Hall Vice President, where I advocate for student well-being and inclusivity. I also volunteer in the Emergency Department at Providence’s Miriam Hospital, gaining firsthand experience in patient care. Additionally, I work with Arts Corps at the Lindemann Performing Arts Center, helping expand access to the arts across campus.
Musically, I am a member of the Providence Medical Orchestra and the Brown University Chamber Music Groups, where I continue to explore the intersection of music and medicine through collaboration and performance. Beyond my studies, I enjoy playing the cello, running, skiing, and reading. My intellectual interests extend to quantum physics, astrophysics, and mathematics, which deepen my curiosity about the brain, consciousness, and the structure of the universe. My long-term goal is to pursue medical school and neurosurgery, uniting precision, creativity, and empathy in service to others.
Iragena Aimee Marie Merci Dominique

Hola! My full name is Iragena Aimee Marie Merci Dominique, but you can call me Dominique. I am an international student from Rwanda and Ethiopia, and, as you may already tell, I love Spanish (and languages in general) and Hispanic culture. I’m in my second year at Brown concentrating in Theatre and Performance Studies. I’m also on a self-proclaimed mission of taking one Spanish class each semester for my entire time at Brown. I speak three languages fluently: Kinyarwanda, English and French. Over the summer, I worked on a bilingual touring production at Rhode Island Latino Arts, and that reinforced my aspiration of exploring the common ground between multilingualism and theatre. I enjoy business classes, and I’m leaning more towards finance, start ups and/or consulting. Outside of class, I serve on the executive board of Ensemble, one of the student theatre groups on campus. I am also a Meiklejon Peer Advisor for first-year students helping them navigate their transition to Brown. I write poetry and would describe my writing process as “writing for the ear”. I started working with ArtsCrew’s Visitor Services department in my freshman fall. I work as a house manager and usher at events at the Bell Gallery, The Granoff Center for the Creative Arts, and the Lindemann Performing Arts Center. These events range from student theatre, art exhibition events, film screenings, orchestra concerts, and panel discussions, to name a few. Now, I’m also working as a Brown Arts Institute (BAI) Student Ambassador. I’ve grown to find a home with the BAI, and I hope you will too.
Fun Fact: The Lindemann is the apple of my eye.
Delice Munezero

My name is Delice Munezero, a sophomore from Rwanda concentrating in Applied Mathematics and Economics, and exploring career paths in finance. Alongside my academic interests, I am an art appreciator and express myself through Rwandan traditional dance and occasional acting. Community and faith shape much of my life. I love building intentional friendships and spending time fellowshipping with others. I am excited to serve as a BAI Student Ambassador by sharing my experiences with the Institute and helping connect others to BAI resources.
