Graduate Fellow, Marketing and Communications
Alex Parker-Guerrero is the Brown Arts Initiative Graduate Fellow in Marketing and Communications and a second-year Master's student in the Public Humanities program at Brown. In the program, he focuses on public history, as well as on Asian American, urban, and political histories. He was previously a Graduate Fellow at Brown's Center for the Study of Race and Ethnicity in America, and spent Summer 2019 as an intern at the Smithsonian's Anacostia Community Museum. Prior to coming to Brown, Parker-Guerrero worked in communications at the Kenneth Rainin Foundation in Oakland, CA, and volunteered at the Oakland Museum of California. He holds a B.A. in American Studies from Occidental College in Los Angeles.
