Greg Picard has served as the production manager of the Granoff Center for the Creative Arts since its opening in 2011. He has overseen the logistical and technical implementation of numerous projects, providing comprehensive professional insight for world-class visiting artists and student coursework alike. Previously, Greg was the project coordinator for the Theatre Arts and Performance Studies department. Prior to Brown, he gained over a decade of experience in arts production and administration at New York City institutions, including Symphony Space, Brooklyn Academy of Music, and Merkin Concert Hall. Greg holds a B.A. in Theatre Studies, with a minor in Film Studies from Brandeis University, and is also a graduate of the Historic Preservation Carpentry program at the North Bennett Street School, Boston. He has played drums since he was eight years old, and has in recent years worked on local group improvisatory projects. Outside of work, Greg spends time with his family, enjoying beaches, biking and cultural experiences around New England.
