Through its grant programs, the Brown Arts Initiative provides financial and other resources to Brown University faculty, professional staff and students to help realize curriculum, research and practice-based projects in the arts. N.B. The Fall 2018 grants cycle opens on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 and closes Sunday, Oct 14, 2018 at 11:59 pm. The Spring 2019 grants cycle opens on Monday, January 28, 2019 and closes Sunday, March 10, 2019 at 11:59 pm. Please check the respective grants programs for more detailed information.

Applications for the Student Grant program open this fall on September 10, 2018 and close on September 30, 2018 at 11:59 pm for fall semester art projects. Spring applications open on January 28, 2019 and close on February 17, 2019 at 11:59 pm for spring semester art projects.

Please plan ahead, as late applications will not be accepted.
