Eric Nathan

Brown University assistant professor of music Eric Nathan blogs about his early fall residency at Yellow Barn, an international center for chamber music in Putney, VT. While in residence, Nathan and his artistic collaborators further developed and recorded his new composition, Some Favored Nook, inspired by the writings of Emily Dickinson and Thomas Wentworth Higginson. Nathan received a Research and Development grant from the Brown Arts Initiative in support of this work.

Sarah Cascone

The Brown Arts Initiative (BAI) and Performa have teamed up to co-commission a new multi-media performance work by artist Kelly Nipper, the first project of a three-year collaboration between the two organizations.
